As a graduate student in Cultural Studies at Sabancı University, Rudi conducted an oral history interview with Rimma about her Armenian identity and her migration from Armenia to Germany.
Rudi:
"While people usually imagine an older person when they hear oral history, I believe young people have as much importance as the old people and I’m really glad that I got the opportunity to interview with a great narrator young Armenian woman, Rimma."
From the interview:
"Germany is like my best friend's place where everybody knows me. I can go and open the fridge and take whatever I want but still, it's not my place. And in Armenia, it's like when you get married and you go to your parent's place which is also your place but you are the guest."
